Hello everyone ! This week was incredible and we saw so many miracles happen. 

First off General conference was amazing! One of the first things we did was send 50 texts to our friends to come to church and watch General Conference. Four people responded with yes but no one showed up. However that's not the end. Of all the people we contacted, one responded with no he couldn't come to general conference, but he was free to meet up again and talk with the missionaries. So we met with him Saturday morning and he came to church last Sunday!! He is amazing. We have another lesson with him later this week and we can't wait.

This week we did a lot of reaching out via texting and calls. It is such a blessing that the church has given us these tools to reach out to the people that the Lord has prepared for us. We also had my first baptism!! His name is Peter he is 12 years old and he has a part member family. He is amazing. We went over to his house every Saturday for these past couple of weeks. It was also super cool, I was able to be a part of the gift of the holy ghost ordinance and be a witness for his baptism, an amazing experience! We had a dinner after the baptism that went very long and we missed our train but it's ok because we got a lift from some members, the Fortino's. 

The French is coming along. There are definitely differences from textbook French to spoken French. There are certain phrases that French people don't agree on and weird abbreviations of phrases like "je ne sais pas" (I don't know), people just say "shaypa" faster. It's really weird for non native French speakers like me. 

I Iove Chartres!! The branch and the city are incredible!

Everyone reading in Reno I know that y'all got a temple close. It is the most sacred place on the earth that we can go to. I didn't take advantage of it being so close and didn't go as much as I should have. Try and go to the temple sometime this week. There is no place where you can be that would be more important.

 June 23, 2025 Hot!!!  It was so hot here in Saint-Quentin this week. I've never eaten more popsicles than in the last week. We only had one fan that worked and it is a mini fan, so yeah. But the Lord's work didn't stop.  We did a ton of finding like normal, we also had an exchange which was awesome. We went to Lille and  did an exchange with our ZLs. I learned a ton up there to bring to Saint-Quentin. Also I don't know why but I seem to find and be companions with people from French Polynesia.  On Friday we crossed this family from new Caledonia and they are so cool.  April 21, 2025 By far the craziest week of my mission!!  I'll just take you from Tuesday to Thursday  Tuesday I called the cops. It was late and we just got done with a lesson with one of our friends (who is a little crazy). So we get done with this lesson and all of the sudden I see this guy sitting on the church entrance right outside. His hands were on his head and there was some blood on his knuckles and he was telling us all these crazy things. Anyway, our friend looks at me and says "it's a demon", so she puts her hand on his head and repeats something in her native language (Dutch). In the end, we didn't know what to do so we just called the emergency line and had some police officers take him to a psychiatric hospital. So that was my Tuesday. Wednesday we got lost trying to get home, then on Thursday we went to Institute (which is like a class for all the young adults in the Paris area).  September 8, 2025 Hello everyone. Hope your week has been good. I did a lot of things this week, starting out transfers happened. I am now with a new companion named Elder Jones. He is super cool and goofy. We're gonna have a lot of fun together. I can already tell.  And big news from my family, my little sister got her mission call to Mexico, Pachuca! Megan will be an amazing missionary. We went to transfers in Paris. It was fun to see all the other missionaries again! I got my tite de sejour, which means I'm now legal in France. And to cap it all off, we got to eat at 5 Guys sooooooo good! An old friend from the mission sent me a wedding invitation. He's trying to kill me. Charleroi has been awesome. There are so many people to find and teach. Just this last week we had the opportunity to put one of our friends on baptismal date. His name is Benjamin.
