Mission Email October 29, 2004

So it's a Tuesday email today because we got our P-Day switched to go to the Temple and the Chateau de Versailles so I'm super pumped!

The funniest thing happened yesterday when we helped our friends move. So we got everything moved out and the last thing was a bed frame and it couldn't get through the door. So after 30 minutes of contemplation, another person who was with us said why don't we lower it out of the window? I can't believe we actually did it. There is a photo of us below lowering a bed frame out the window !! Lol

This week was also zone conference so we went into Paris. We were able to see the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel tower light up super cool ! Also my family sent me takis so I'm holding a box of Takis in one of the photos. Chartres does one of the coolest things I've seen so far which is "Chartes en lumineers". Essentially they light up the Cathedral with amazing scenes every night. I dare say it's better than Fireworks. I also have photos of that in my google photo link!

We were challenged by our mission President's wife to read the Book of Mormon fully in our first 2 transfers and I'm almost done!

At the beginning of the week I read 3rd Nephi 16:1
And verily, verily, I say unto you that I have other sheep.

The first scripture we read to new friends is John 10:15-16 it says:
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

We use this to connect the bible and the Livre de Mormon, which is a very powerful tool because most people we teach believe in the bible. Jésus-Christ truly is the good Shepherd. He is the light of the world and he appeared to the people in America because he loves everyone.

Love you guys, have a great week !!
