Mission Email November 25, 2024

Crazy cool and fun week! It's always a good time with Elder Tupana. I love serving in Paris too, the time just seems to fly! We have had so many awesome experiences here. We do so many phone calls it's crazy. One time I woke up and had 6 referrals and they all happened in one night wild! 

We have an amazing investigator named Marin and all he wants to do is serve a mission. He is so cool. He has soooo much energy. We have a temple tour with him and will probably set a date for baptism then, I'm so excited ! 

Today was super cool. We went to the Paris Christmas market in La Defence, so dope. We had these malt balls with some type of nut in them that was super fun. We then went to the l'arche. It's so cool, it's a building with a hole in it. We also saw a huge statue of a thumb. I don’t know why it's there but it is weird but cool. I sat on Santa's seat so I had a great day !!

Also I have to give the Elders of Bourges and the Sisters of Blois and Orleans a shout out! They found 100 new friends in one week-insane! Orleans and Bourges were in my old district. 

Spiritual thought 
Ever since I finished the Book of Mormon I've been reading the New Testament. Super cool. But I've started reading it alongside the institute manual,  so I'm really diving into the meanings behind the symbolism of the Bible. One thing I love is all the names for Christ:
 
Prince of Peace 
Good Shepherd 
Emanuel ( god with us ) 
Counselor 
Wonderful 
And more...
So dope how many names of Jesus there are and it's something that I've been thinking alot about.  I think it's awesome that we can always look to him and pray to our Heavenly Father for guidance.

 June 23, 2025 Hot!!!  It was so hot here in Saint-Quentin this week. I've never eaten more popsicles than in the last week. We only had one fan that worked and it is a mini fan, so yeah. But the Lord's work didn't stop.  We did a ton of finding like normal, we also had an exchange which was awesome. We went to Lille and  did an exchange with our ZLs. I learned a ton up there to bring to Saint-Quentin. Also I don't know why but I seem to find and be companions with people from French Polynesia.  On Friday we crossed this family from new Caledonia and they are so cool. It was Elder Tuua and Tupana who initially talked to them. And then we were near the river when I saw them and we started talking about church and all it was a super awesome experience.  Sunday came around and one of our amazing members brought her friend with her to church!  April 21, 2025 By far the craziest week of my mission!!  I'll just take you from Tuesday to Thursday  Tuesday I called the cops. It was late and we just got done with a lesson with one of our friends (who is a little crazy). So we get done with this lesson and all of the sudden I see this guy sitting on the church entrance right outside. His hands were on his head and there was some blood on his knuckles and he was telling us all these crazy things. Anyway, our friend looks at me and says "it's a demon", so she puts her hand on his head and repeats something in her native language (Dutch). In the end, we didn't know what to do so we just called the emergency line and had some police officers take him to a psychiatric hospital. So that was my Tuesday. Wednesday we got lost trying to get home, then on Thursday we went to Institute (which is like a class for all the young adults in the Paris area).  September 8, 2025 Hello everyone. Hope your week has been good. I did a lot of things this week, starting out transfers happened. I am now with a new companion named Elder Jones. He is super cool and goofy. We're gonna have a lot of fun together. I can already tell.  And big news from my family, my little sister got her mission call to Mexico, Pachuca! Megan will be an amazing missionary. We went to transfers in Paris. It was fun to see all the other missionaries again! I got my tite de sejour, which means I'm now legal in France. And to cap it all off, we got to eat at 5 Guys sooooooo good! An old friend from the mission sent me a wedding invitation. He's trying to kill me. Charleroi has been awesome. There are so many people to find and teach. Just this last week we had the opportunity to put one of our friends on baptismal date. His name is Benjamin.
