Bonjour à tous!


We had an awesome week here in Paris. I did so many fun amazing things. It started on Tuesday where we had a two hour plan of salvation lesson with our friend who really likes to talk. But all in all the lesson went great and we had a great time. 

We get so many references in our area, we also talk with a lot of Elders and Sisters all over Europe. This last week we had Elders from the Adriatic North mission reach out to us because of a friend they found who lives in Paris for work. It's fun and awesome to see all the different missions in Europe working together. 

On Thursday we went to this area called Belleville for a rendezvous but it didn't happen so we decided to do contating on the street. Now Belleville is not necessarily the nicest part of France. It has a lot of character. We got offered cigarettes as soon as we were out of the metro. So it's a little more like the hood, it's also the Chinese area of France. In our apartment we have some mandarin cards, so before I left I stuck some in my pocket and felt determined to give one out. When we got to Bellville and our meet up didn't go through, we started stopping all the people who spoke mandarin. One lady we stopped didn't speak any French and a little bit of English, so we talked a bit and just put a mandarin card in front of her face and she said I call! So I guess I'm now a Chinese elder. 

We also had our Christmas party for our ward which was so fun. We had so many people and some of our friends came, so even more hype. I don't mean to brag also but me and Elder Tupana decorated the tree for our ward. It's pretty beautiful. I have a picture in my google photos of the tree we decorated. All in all we had a solid week. We had transfers. I'm STAYING WITH ELDER TUPANA. I'm so hyped for that can't wait !!!!


Spiritual thought 

I have seen so many miracles on my mission so far and if there's one thing I can say for certainty is the fact that miracles have not ceased. We read in 2 Nephi 27:23 

23 For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith.

We have miracles in our life each and every day. And miracles have not ceased! That's one thing I've learned on my mission, it truly is a mission of miracles. Love yall have a great week

 February 3, 2025 This week we had Transfer News, I will be staying in Les Lilas and my Comp Elder Tupana will be leaving (RIP Mon Tahitian!). What I didn't expect this transfer was to be training a brand new Elder! I have no idea what his name is but I can't wait! We pick them up on Thursday.  Other than that we have been really focusing on members this last week sending them spiritual thoughts. Our plan this next week is to bring them a bunch of cookies !!!! Our members here are actually super powerful. Every single one of them has a super strong testimony. Members are super important for this work! It's your testimony that inspires lasting change in the hearts of the people we teach.  Well I'm officially 20 today! Crazy how fast time passes. I've been alive for 20 years and I can confidently say I've learned more about myself in the last year than I did the other 19. If there's one thing I know it's that you have a Heavenly father and he loves you.  My week was good.This area is much different than Les Lilas where I was before here. There is a lot of retirees and cars, so the people we stop normally don't want to listen, so we adjusted and just started doing door to door alot of it. The ward here is awesome! Yesterday after church we went to the Bourroux's house. They're so cool. Their son is going on a mission here soon and the kids are crazy fun. They have two girls who are just bursting with energy so we built a magnetic house with them. Then Sunday night we get a call from our member Pascal who owns a pizza place. February 17, 2025 Bonjour a tous! Hello everyone I made it through another week of awesome missionary work! I'll run you through the highlights of the week. So many elect people!  On Thursday I met this super elect person on the metro. We just started talking and he was super interested. He was born into a Christian household but doesn't go to church often. Loves the bible too! I felt prompted on the metro to share with him Amos 3: 7 which is - Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. - Then I told him that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and that he gave us prophets in every period of time. It was super cool to see a light go off in his brain. Then I bore a quick testimony about our Prophet and the Book of Mormon.
