Hi all!!!
It's our district p-day so on the to do list today is going to the temple and a world war 2 museum so I'm pumped for that.
This week was low-key pretty slow but I'll run through some highlights of our week. Tuesday we had an incredibly elect lesson with our friend and one of our members. Both our member and our friend know the scriptures. There were soo many scriptures shared it was awesome. The spirit was there and it was a great lesson!!
Another awesome thing that happened is with one of our friends who has a baptismal date (Martin) we went to this really cool parc called Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. I've went once before but not with our friend. We talked and it was a great time we hit him with the 2 great commandments and a couple other principles. Here is a flic of us together at the parc. Such a dope parc !!!!!!!
All in all fun week, but definitely a slow week. We also met the most elect person of all time on the tram. I hopped on the tram looked around and saw this one lady reading a book, so I approach her and ask her if she goes to church often and she responds with "do you speak English?" So very much a blessing and in my comfort zone! The discussion was incredible and elect we got her number, gave an English copy of the book of mormon and have a call with her tomorrow. Awesome interaction!!!!
I loved this talk that I listened to the other day! It's from this last general conference from Brad R Wilcox and I loved this quote:
Does your birthright mean you are better than others? No, but it does mean you are expected to help others be better. Does your birthright mean you are chosen? Yes, but not chosen to rule over others; you are chosen to serve them. Is your birthright evidence of God’s love? Yes, but more important, it is evidence of His trust.
Love this talk and I would encourage you to read it when you get a chance.
Love you all and et a la prochaine !
