6 Months ?????? I hit my 6 month mark the other day and can confidently say that this has been one of the greatest experiences of my entire life!

A little recap, I started in Chartes for 2 transfers, met so many amazing people and was able to be a part of Peter's baptism there. I had a blast with my two trainers Elder Rowley who is my mission Dad and Elder Wilstead who finished my training.

Then I got transferred to Paris, the Les Lilas sector with Elder Tupana who is from Tahiti, These last two transfers have been a blast with him. I've learned so much in these last 6 months and grown so much.

We had an amazing Sunday yesterday! We were able to bring 5 friends to church! Little story, we had a friend who said he would come to church call us during the sacrament so me and Elder Tupana silenced our phones and as soon as we finished the sacrament we bolted for the door and called our friend. It turned out that he had gotten lost in the metro, so me and Elder Tupana started running in suits to go get our friend. Then along the way we saw one of our friends who was coming to church also so we walked back with them talking to them.

It's soo cool to see how much the church is growing not just in Africa and South America it's growing in Europe. Slowly but steadily and slow and steady wins the race. Days in Paris fly by too, literally felt like we just had P-Day! Paris time flies.

Spiritual thought

I've been trying to read and fully understand the New Testament and in the New Testament Jesus talks alot about faith and how we can increase our faith through prayerful scripture study. I found this talk thinking about my scripture study:

Faith to Act and Become
 By Elder Ciro Schmeil
Prayer and scripture study go hand in hand. They work together for our benefit. This is the process that the Lord has established. “Feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.” 2 nephi 23 I can testify to you that as I've prayerfully studied the scriptures my faith has been increased as well as my love for the people I've been teaching.

Peace out Elder Smith
