Well I had an action packed week! I picked up my new companion, Elder Talbot. He's so cool and already an awesome missionary. We had a ton of super amazing experiences so far and we're only 4 days in.

Our friends here are super awesome and progressing and that is awesome. Funny story, I lost my companion this week! We were trying to get onto the metro and I got on the metro but Elder Talbot got caught behind a senior couple and wasn't able to make it on. So I turned around and saw that I got split up and just mouthed to him "wait there" and put my hand up signaling him to wait for me to come back around. Luckily I am in a 4 man and the other equipe was there so they went back while I waited at the next stop. Not the greatest thing to do as a mission father.

Other things we did this week: we had a super awesome lesson with one of our friends who is progressing amazingly. We drew a bunch of images on the chalkboard to get him to understand the steps in the atonement of Jesus Christ:
First was a tree signifying the garden of Gethsemane
Second was a cross signifying the crucifixion
Third was a stone signifying the sepulcher that Jesus was laid in
Last a person to symbolize the Resurrection
Cool way to teach and I didn't think I'd be teaching a lot by symbols but we actually do.

I've been reading and pondering a lot about the atonement. As I've been reading in the bible its amazing to see the similarities in the book of mormon and the bible. But what's even cooler is to see the simplicity of the book of mormon! It's so easy to teach out of the book of Mormon because everything we need is found within it for our conversion and our friends. One thing that the book of mormon teaches clearly is the atonement of Jesus Christ.  Alma chapter 7 verse 10 - 13 its absolutely amazing! If you have the
chance to read it that would be awesome !!!
