This week we had Transfer News, I will be staying in Les Lilas and my Comp Elder Tupana will be leaving (RIP Mon Tahitian!). What I didn't expect this transfer was to be training a brand new Elder! I have no idea what his name is but I can't wait! We pick them up on Thursday.

Other than that we have been really focusing on members this last week sending them spiritual thoughts. Our plan this next week is to bring them a bunch of cookies !!!! Our members here are actually super powerful. Every single one of them has a super strong testimony. Members are super important for this work! It's your testimony that inspires lasting change in the hearts of the people we teach. That's one thing I personally learned this week as we had 5 member lessons where you could tell the spirit was there.

I also had an amazing experience on the metro where I started talking to this one man who ended up telling me he was Muslim. He said that he respects everyone's beliefs and I said the same. We ended up talking for quite a bit of time just about life and our religion. There is amazing people everywhere you go from different backgrounds. I have genuinely learned so much this transfer. This sector in particular requires quite a bit of work and love, so were going to do our best!

spiritual thought

One thing that I've been thinking alot about is how diligent Jesus Christ was in his teaching. Everywhere he went he was constantly teaching, constantly inviting, and consistently showing compassion for others. At no time was he idol.

As I've been reading the New Testament, this really struck me and told me the more diligent I am as a missionary the more I'm following Jesus Christ's example and becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. This dosen't just apply to me, this applies to everyone wherever we are in school, at work or in our day to day life. One great example of the Savior's diligence is when he healed the woman with the issue of blood on his way to raise Jairus's daughter. This is an awesome story if you have time to read it it's Mark 5; 22 to 43.

I love it. Have a great week.
