Laorana tatou!

I've started learning Tahitian in my free time, I also got a cool Tahitian Shirt. I so far have had 2 Tahitian companions which is very good for my french. One of the craziest things to think about is that I am living my day to day life in a different language. It's very fun, not going to lie, but still bizarre to think about.

I really love the members here in Saint-Quentin. They are taking very good care of us. We also have 3 new members who are all awesome. As far as missionary work goes it's a lot harder to find new people here than in Paris or other big cities. But it's a very cool city right on the river and we'll do our absolute best.

We had 2 crazy homeless experiences. One of them was from France but spoke perfect English and had a British accent, but he started talking about wild things like politics. (Apparently something is happening in the United States right now-haha). After we were done bro hobbled back to the steps of this cathedral and laid down. The other was some lady screaming at everyone in a different language like Ukrainian or Russian just walking up and down the street yelling at everyone.

This week we have Zone Conference in Lille with the Brussels zone, so I'm pumped to say hi to some buddies. We have interviews tomorrow and Wednesday is ZC. We are going to have 8 Elders in one apartment Tuesday night-crazy!

We are super excited about one friend. He's younger, cool, nice and has a car. But he is very attached to his old faith. If everyone could pray for Emil It would be awesome!

Pense spiritual:

One of the things that I've learned to get accustomed to recently is patience. One thing that punched me in the stomach is this quote from PMG that says:

"When you are patient you look at life from an eternal perspective you do not expect immediate blessings or outcomes"

Sometimes we won't see the fruit of our labors until after our life here on earth and that's OK. Looking at things from an eternal perspective is the way Jesus Christ looked at life and it's the way we should as well.
