Hello, everyone!
My week was absolutely fantastic! We had one of the greatest weeks for our ward. And we did so many things. On Saturday we had a barbecue for our ward and it was amazing. So many people came and we were able to play field hockey. I haven't played field hockey since third grade, but it was very fun. We were able to see some inactive members, and some of our friends came as well.
Then on Saturday, we saw 6 friends at church! One more friend came 4 and a 1/2 hours late to church, but we were still at the church, so we did a little lesson and it was good. But Bro, why can't you come 4 hours earlier?
Then right after that, we found out that our ward was going to a festival in a place called Aht. And there were 2 inactive members and 2 of our friends joining them. So we decided to go as well. It lasted from 2 to 7. It was super fun. I have photos on my Google Photos album.
This upcoming week we receive the new transfer board. I'm excited to see who I will receive. I told President that the best thing would be to have a missionary who can stay here for a longer time. Because I only have a French Visa, I can only stay in Belgium for 2 transfers. So roughly 3 months. So I think I'll get somebody who is European or Thaitian or a person with a Belgian Visa. We shall see! Also, today we're going to play mini golf. I'm pumped.
Spiritual thought:
This last Sunday, we had a great experience. Right after sacrament meeting, me and my comp took our friends into another class with 3 other members to do a lesson. It was absolutely amazing! Everyone was interested and asking questions. It made me think about Zion, which is where the peacemakers and the pure in heart live. One thing we should strive for in our lives is to bring to pass Zion, to be the peacemakers and to be pure in heart in our everyday life.
1 Nephi 13
37 And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb; and whoso shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be.
