I love everyone! I hope your week has been awesome. Wrapping up my time here in Charleroi (Belgium). I know I'm leaving this transfer because we don't have visas for Belgium so we can only be here for two transfers. Don't know where I'm going, but yeah, this week is going to be crazy.

This Saturday we have 2 big things. There is transfer news and there is also a baptism for our friend, Layla. We are super excited for her. Her progression has been absolutely amazing. And if you're in Charleroi, you're welcome to come. It's from 16 to 19 at the church building here.  

 

General conference was absolutely amazing. I personally loved the talks given by Elder Patrick Kearon and Elder Holland. If you didn't know Holland is my favorite apostle. When he gets passionate, he gets a little sarcastic and I absolutely love that. 

This last week we had zone conference, which was awesome. We talked a lot about the keys to the priesthood, and how this all works, how this functions, which was timely with all the new changes happening in the church. I learned a lot of new things about priests, keys and how they work. Right after zone conference, we had an exchange with the Elders of Nivelle, I was with Elder Du Toit. Absolutely, amazing, Elder!  They have a car, so we had 4 in person lessons that we did back-to-back to back-to-back. Absolutely a blessed day. We also had the zone leaders in the apartment for the night. So we were an 8 man and the UNO game, got heated. We also had a friend texting us about how touched he was with the general conference! 

Spiritual Thoughts 

I really liked how Patrick Kearon talked a lot about this church being the church of new beginnings and fresh starts and that Jesus Christ offers us the gift to have a new beginning. So whatever we're doing right now, we can turn, change and have a fresh start and do better.
