Merry Christmas, everyone! One important thing that happens here in France is that they don't celebrate Thanksgiving. So after Halloween, it is immediately to Christmas. We are currently watching a Christmas market be set up and we're excited for the season, it's going to be awesome. It will be my last one in France which is sad because they are very different from the American ones.
This week was amazing. There was a miracle that happened. While I was in Belgium one of the friends that I was able to find and then teach was baptized. His name is Julian and to see him make that first covenant with God has been amazing. He was super prepared and such a miracle.
This coming week, we have exchanges in Amiens with the other Elders in our district which will be awesome. We have a good amount of friends progressing in our area right now. And 5 of them came to church which was super amazing. Please keep Theirry in your prayers as well.
Spiritual thought
I've been thinking alot about the sacrament recently and how it relates to me. I went through the gospel topics on the church library app and found this amazing scripture that I love:
1 Corinthians 11
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
The question I've been asking myself is what does the sacrament mean to me ? And I'll ask the same question to you. What does the sacrament mean to you ?
