It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! They're setting up the Christmas market and our saunterville area looks amazing. It's actually so big. I wonder why we don't do this in the states. It's super sick There's a bunch of little red houses with a bunch of Christmas trees and decorations up. It looks amazing. It opens on Saturday, so I'll let you know what it's like next week.

Today's gonna be super lit. Me and Elder Laughlin are going to some thrift stores to try and find ties. I'm also getting my haircut because it is way too long right now.

Sunday was super blessed. We had 9 friends at church and they were all different people. Our sacrament room was absolutely filled. It was super awesome

This week we have a ridiculous amount of stuff happening. We have 2 exchanges,  In person district council l, a Temple trip and transfers this Saturday. I'm really excited actually because we're going to the temple with 2 friends from my past sectors that mean a lot to me and some of our ward members. Amiens is actually amazing especially for missionary work. So much is happening right now and I’m happy to be a part of it.

One funny thing that happened to us this week was we went and visited our member who is just super funny to be around. He talks alot. My favorite thing is just being around him. We had 4 elders there it was just so funny because he had a 1000 ml thing of cologne, I don’t know where he bought it, but he poured it into my hands like it was water or something,  so I smelled like a flower for the rest of the day. My comp got a video its in my google photo album.

Spiritual thought
My spiritual thought is just a bit of my personal study this week i just finished Mosiah and this scripture is super relevant to me currently as a missionary

Mosiah 28 2-3
2 That perhaps they might bring them to the knowledge of the Lord their God, and convince them of the iniquity of their fathers; and that perhaps they might cure them of their hatred towards the Nephites, that they might also be brought to rejoice in the Lord their God, that they might become friendly to one another, and that there should be no more contentions in all the land which the Lord their God had given them.

3 Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not bear that any human soul should perish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure endless torment did cause them to quake and tremble.

Elder Smith
