Hello, everyone! I hope you're doing well. This week was full of miracles.

We started off this week with zone conference and it was amazing. It was for Christmas, so we had a lot of missionaries together. There were 4 zones at the same zone conference in Paris, and it was really fun. We made little missionary figures out of clothes pins, and they're now on our little tree in our apartment, so it's really cute.

We had an exchange with Charleroi in Brussels. It was really, really fun, we did a lot of stuff. I also got to meet the ambassador for Jamaica on the metro. It was super cool. He was super nice and he's interested, so an incredible miracle. His name's Andrew. Keep him in your prayers. On Saturday, we had an exchange with Elder Stam It was a super fun exchange. We visited our friend, Elio, who has a baptismal date, and he's one of the most Christlike people I've ever seen in my entire life. He's been taught for like years now by missionaries and he's finally chosen a date to be baptized. One awesome thing though, is that he gives us chocolate each time we go over. He is best friends with one of our members who's my favorite. His name's Antonio, but Antonio is blind so it is a lot of fun to be around him, his heart is soo pure. And his testimony is like Nephi's!

But the biggest miracle we saw this week was with our friend Thomas. He is one of my best friends up here. We've been teaching him for about 2 weeks. He's progressing amazingly and this last week we told him that he should bring his parents to church and he said, okay, I'll do it! So this last Sunday, we went to the Spanish ward with him and his parents because that's their first language. They loved it. So this was a big miracle and tomorrow we're going over to his house to eat with him and his parents and they make food from Peru. So we'll see how spicy this is gonna get. Sunday was just full of miracles. Also, our friend Fred, we weren't able to contact him this Saturday, but he showed up Sunday morning with his daughter and it was amazing.

Funny story
So here in Brussels, there's a crazy member named Adrian and he didn't come to church for my first 2 weeks here, so I didn't know him. But he walks into church on Saturday and we just started talking to him, I thought he was maybe a friend or something. I was also on my exchange with a missionary who's just starting out. But we get to talking and I'm starting to get the impression that mentally he's not the most there. We continue talking and a little later in the conversation, he tells us that he is Jesus Christ. Then he offers us one of the books that he has in his trolley, and it's so wild, there's so many random books. He also offers us a couple day old waffles, but yeah, it was insane. Just an absolutely wild conversation. I've never been in a conversation like that before.

Spiritual thought: yesterday I think I spent maybe 45 minutes in Alma 40. And it's talking about the second half of the plan of salvation, it's Alma, who's teaching his kid Coriantum. There's so much doctrinal knowledge wrapped up into one chapter! This one scripture, I'd love to share with you all

Alma 40
12 And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.
