Hello, everyone. Welcome to another week in the life of Elder Smith. This week was awesome, saw a ton of miracles!
This last Wednesday we went down to Charleroi and had an absolute blast. We visited a couple old friends and new members. Every time I go back to Charleroi, a bunch of good memories come back and hit me like a freight train. I also think Charleroi probably has the best finding in the whole mission. So many people are so awesome. They're willing to listen to us. It was one of my favorite areas!
Then on Thursday, we had Elder Geysler, come up. He's absolutely amazing and from Switzerland. We went and saw a couple of our friends. And we were able to have an amazing lesson with one of our friends talking about baptism.
Friday was maybe one of my funniest days on my mission. We went to Paris to do an exchange with the AP's. We went to this place called Chateau Rouge, which is essentially mini Africa, and it was super amazing, there are tons of Africans there. I found 10 friends in half an hour! It was absolutely amazing. It's so cool. One of the people we found, his name was Elohim and another's name was Emminence-- goated names. On Friday, we also had a lesson with one of their friends who absolutely loves anything American. He's really, really cool and interested in the gospel. Got an amazing lesson where we taught the entire plan of salvation lesson in half an hour.
And on Saturday, we played basketball with the young adults. It was really fun, low-key kind of got cooked, because there was players there that were
6'8 and 6'7!
See ya next week!

June 23, 2025 Hot!!! It was so hot here in Saint-Quentin this week. I've never eaten more popsicles than in the last week. We only had one fan that worked and it is a mini fan, so yeah. But the Lord's work didn't stop. We did a ton of finding like normal, we also had an exchange which was awesome. We went to Lille and did an exchange with our ZLs. I learned a ton up there to bring to Saint-Quentin. Also I don't know why but I seem to find and be companions with people from French Polynesia. On Friday we crossed this family from new Caledonia and they are so cool. It was Elder Tuua and Tupana who initially talked to them. And then we were near the river when I saw them and we started talking about church and all it was a super awesome experience. Sunday came around and one of our amazing members brought her friend with her to church! She is soo cool and we're excited to teach her it truly was a fun week. We just went grocery shopping and bou...
