We back !!!!!
We made it back to Paris. This will probably be my last area on my mission and it's an absolutely awesome place called Saint-Ouen. The ward here is absolutely amazing. They have a ton of faith and a good amount of young adults in the ward, so it's really easy to integrate our friends. I'm super pumped to work in Saint-Ouen for the next couple weeks.
I wanted to share with you about our friends in Brussels. This was an absolute miracle and one of the biggest faith inspiring moments of my mission. Their names are Jackson and Olga they are new here in from Africa. But their living conditions are not good whatsoever. They are still trying to figure everything out. We do in person lessons at their house. It is a 10 foot by 10 foot room where the bed is most of the room, they also have a 3 year old daughter. So we gave our message to them it was super powerful all about the gospel of Christ. We fixed a baptismal date! Well as we were leaving these people who have nothing, the father, Jackson recites for me a scripture in the Book of Mormon:
2 Nephi 2:24
All things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things.
His faith is incredible and I know that God knows this family and is watching out for them in this new chapter of their life.
My new apartment in Paris is absolutely crazy. It's like we put the 4 biggest characters in our mission and put 'em all in an apartment together. We've been having a lot of fun, but it's been a grind here. There's a lot of work to be done. I've made it a call that I'm going to make the last 10 weeks of my mission the greatest experience of my entire life. One missionary told me this last week that the mission is like a training center for life. I've seen how I've grown from it mentally, physically and spiritually.
Spiritual thought:
Thinking in a celestial manner is one of the keys to our life. I love this talk by President Russell Nelson about how we should see our day to day life. Is what we're doing right now setting us up to enter into the eternal presence of our Heavenly Father again? It's the question I've asked myself during my mission, and that's the question I'm going to have to keep asking myself after my mission.
